Queens of Queen City is a public initiative I started. It’s dedicated to uncovering forgotten histories and the present successes of the Greater Cincinnati Area’s women in essays, podcasts, interviews, photos and video tours. I’ve been working on it since April 2017 and launched the website in June 2017.
I designed the logo with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop and the website with WordPress (like this one!). I also conduct the social media accounts. I presenting web content with tight storytelling developed from interviewing women in or from Cincinnati; researching in libraries and archives in tri-state region; conducting communications with experts, scholars and researchers. I also plan and present at events. As a representative of the organization, I network for community outreach and support.
